Born in 2009 in the town of Ghent in Belgium, De Witte began her musical journey in the underground nightclubs in Ghent. Once electronic music caught her attention, she started devoting her time as a disc jockey in 2010, while mostly working on EDM tracks and electro house. Her career as a producer began two years hence.
After winning a contest at the Studio Brussel DJ in 2011, she went on to perform at the Tomorrowland Fest. In the meantime, Charlotte adopted “Raving George” as her stage moniker.
She did this in order to avoid negative perceptions and views usually thwarted against female DJs. On releasing a handful of singles through Bad Life and Crux Records, her 2015 single “You’re Mine,” went on to become a hit. It featured Oscar and the Wolf.
